NEWS: SYSPRO'S Inventory Optimization Solution was a winner in the 9TH ANNUAL AMERICAN BUSINESS AWARDS™
SYSPRO Inventory Optimization Wins People’s Choice Award for Favorite New Manufacturing Product
COSTA MESA, Calif. – June 22, 2011 -- SYSPRO, a global, independent developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, announced today that the company’s Inventory Optimization Solution has been honored with an American Business Award (“The Stevie”) People’s Choice Award in the category of Favorite New Manufacturing Product. The awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on radio by the Business TalkRadio Network. Joey Benadretti, SYSPRO USA President was on hand to accept the honor.
The award is the latest in a string of industry recognitions that SYSPRO has received in 2011 based on the ability of SYSPRO ERP to accommodate the exacting needs of the marketplace. Benadretti noted, “This award is particularly noteworthy since it is indicative of the high level of satisfaction of SYSPRO customers, many of whom voted for this honor. With today’s credit squeeze and other business constraints, Inventory Optimization is a major plus to companies and particularly to CFO’s who need to leverage cash assets, not wanting to tie up large amounts in inventory. This attention to the requirements of the market is further indication of why SYSPRO customer retention rates are among the highest in the industry.”
In fact, Benadretti noted that new materials, cost and cash management capabilities within SYSPRO 6.1, the latest version of SYSPRO ERP software, are evolving into US success stories. Heralded by customers as a “business saver” and a “market maker,” SYSPRO 6.1 was lauded by a SYSPRO customer who related an exemplary success story this week at the recent Grape Escape® analyst event in Boston.
The embedded SYSPRO Inventory Optimization suite is unique in a mid-size ERP system, enabling mid-size businesses to be more competitive by facilitating materials, cost and cash management. Inventory Optimization is an integral part of efficient resource management and the foundation of enhanced levels of service, improved performance against customer request dates and a better return on equity. It is also a powerful, competitive tool for small and medium-size companies that operate in markets dominated by much larger firms. Inventory Optimization is a factor in achieving success in the demand-driven, lean manufacturing model.
The SYSPRO Inventory Optimization suite is comprised of a self-contained, self-developed, fully functional SYSPRO Forecasting Module, the SYSPRO Inventory Families and Groupings Module and the SYSPRO Inventory Optimizer.
